Animanga and March

We started of the month with a movie discussion of the studio ghibli classic Nausicaa and the Valley of the wind. The beautiful tragedy of creeping nature saw the beginnings of the themes that ghibli would revisit often. The community joined together and shared our thoughts about the film.

On the 14th, we swapped katanas for Kunais, becoming Ninjas, not Samurais. learning the art of paper craft together at Eve's Coffee. we crafted them, each painted in all different colours.

A week later on the 21st of March, We transformed into magical girls. All the way from Sailor moon to Maayakanan, Magical wands have been a classic part of anime from the very beginning. Around the Tables of Eve's Coffee, we made magic(wands)

At the end of the month, on the 29th, we went out to Olam, and brought the paper figurines to life. Cutting and gluing our way to fun.
